Before the first scan.
Do guests need to download an app?+
No. Guests simply scan the event QR code or open the event link in their browser and record from their phone.
How many free events can I create?+
Each PalStory account includes one Free event. After the Free event has been used, additional events require a Celebration, Professional or Customize plan.
Do I pay once or for every paid event?+
Celebration, Professional and Customize are purchased per event. One successful Celebration payment activates one Celebration event, one successful Professional payment activates one Professional event, and one successful Customize payment activates one Customize event. Every additional paid event requires a new payment.
How long can guests record?+
Free allows up to 30 seconds, Celebration up to 45 seconds, and Professional and Customize up to 60 seconds. Guests can stop recording earlier whenever they are ready.
How many videos can each plan collect?+
Free supports up to 10 guest videos, Celebration up to 150 and Professional up to 300 per event. Customize starts at 301 guest videos and has no upper video limit.
How long does the QR stay active?+
Free events collect for 24 hours, Celebration for 72 hours, and Professional and Customize for 7 days.
Can I review videos before the final memory film?+
Yes. Guest videos are submitted privately to the organizer. You can approve or reject submissions, and only approved videos are used for the final memory collection or film.
Will PalStory help me display the QR at my event?+
Yes. Celebration, Professional and Customize include designed QR poster and card options, predefined display styles and guidance on where and how to place the QR at your event.
Can I cancel a paid event?+
Yes. If you request cancellation within 24 hours of purchase and the event has not been materially used, you may qualify for a 90% refund. PalStory retains 10% as a cancellation and processing charge. Once guest submissions or meaningful event use has started, customer-requested cancellations are normally not refundable. Confirmed duplicate payments and confirmed PalStory service failures may qualify for a 100% refund. Eligible cancellations are handled through your organizer dashboard, subject to the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Are guest videos private?+
Yes. PalStory is designed around private event collections and organizer-controlled access rather than public video feeds.
Is PalStory only for weddings?+
No. PalStory works for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, farewells, reunions, corporate celebrations and many other meaningful occasions.
